Join Sun Life as a Student Cloud Infrastructure Analyst supporting enterprise AI and AWS cloud platforms. Contribute to Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, automation, and DevOps initiatives.
Description
- Support cloud-based AI services and AWS platforms and tooling
- Provision infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation and/or Terraform
- Develop and refine automation, CI/CD pipelines, and operational workflows
- Help onboard and support teams using shared AI and analytics platforms
- Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles
- Take part in Agile ceremonies while working with engineers, architects, and platform partners
- Build practical knowledge of how enterprise AI and analytics platforms are designed, deployed, and supported in production
- Assist with monitoring, incident follow-up, and keep-the-lights-on operational activities
- Spot opportunities to improve processes and recommend practical, innovative solutions
- Work with Cloud, Security, Architecture, Data Science, and Analytics teams to deliver platform capabilities
- Use automation-first and DevOps practices to strengthen reliability and operational efficiency
- Help support enterprise AI and analytics platforms, including AWS SageMaker and Snowflake
Requirements
- Be a student eligible for a Winter 2027 co-op placement
- Communicate and collaborate effectively
- Show curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Take initiative and follow assigned work through to completion
- Work effectively both independently and within a team
- Have exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Understand basic IAM, S3, or managed AI services
- Know the fundamentals of Infrastructure as Code, particularly CloudFormation
- Have programming or scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Understand basic CI/CD, Git, or DevOps concepts
- Be interested in AI, machine learning, analytics platforms, or platform engineering
- Obtain Reliability Status security clearance
- Account for activities during any six-consecutive-month period spent living or travelling outside Canada within the past five years for the Government of Canada security process
- Complete a law enforcement inquiry and credit check
