Description

  • Assess manufacturing processes to uncover improvement opportunities
  • Support the use of statistical methods to improve quality and efficiency
  • Use advanced statistical techniques to interpret complex datasets
  • Provide analytical insights for medical research and development
  • Work with engineering, production, R&D, and other subject-matter teams
  • Develop visual presentations that explain statistical results to technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

  • Interest in pursuing a career in the life sciences
  • Proactive approach and willingness to take initiative
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others
  • Strong interest in statistics and data analysis
  • Foundational knowledge of statistical tools and methods
  • At least two statistics courses preferred
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to explain complex data simply
  • Field of study in statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Student entering junior or senior year the following fall, beginning graduate school, or graduated during the preceding spring
  • Proof of enrollment, including pre-registration confirmation for the following fall
  • Preferred minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Applicants from marketing, life sciences, general business, management, and other disciplines may be considered
