Description
- Own the design and delivery of scalable software that advances business goals
- Partner with cross-functional teams to shape, build, and release new capabilities
- Produce maintainable, efficient, well-documented code aligned with engineering standards
- Review code to uphold quality, consistency, and maintainability
- Diagnose issues and improve existing systems for speed, stability, and reliability
- Help refine development workflows, tooling, and engineering practices
- Evaluate emerging technologies that can strengthen software capabilities and innovation
- Coach engineers and help guide key architectural choices
- Support technology roadmaps and the development of resilient, high-performance systems
Requirements
- Broad software engineering experience grounded in core computer science concepts
- Proficiency with several programming languages and software development frameworks
- Track record of designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-quality software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability focused on efficient, dependable code
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile setting
- Understanding of software development lifecycles, testing practices, and version control
- Strong written and verbal communication for explaining technical concepts clearly
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related field plus 4 years of software engineering or related experience; or 6 years of software engineering or related experience
