Solutions Architect III – Power Platform and AI (Remote India)

Design and govern Power Platform, AI, data, and custom application solutions in regulated GxP environments. Lead architecture standards, security, SDLC controls, and technical guidance for development teams.

Description

  • Define end-to-end architectures for custom and configured applications that meet business needs and enterprise standards.
  • Assess build-versus-buy options and oversee implementation quality across the solution development team.
  • Maintain architecture standards and contribute to Architecture Review Board governance.
  • Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to develop a complete view of organizational strategy, processes, information, and IT assets.
  • Align enterprise objectives and IT investments across Power Platform, custom scripting, and data pipeline and schema design.
  • Promote responsible use of AI-assisted coding tools and oversee architectures for custom LLMs, business agents, GPTs, and agentic workflows.
  • Convert business narratives into technical models and documented architecture views.
  • Apply secure coding and secrets management standards across the development team.
  • Maintain SDLC compliance in regulated GxP environments, including requirements traceability, testing evidence, and release documentation.
  • Mentor solution developers and engineers while providing technical direction.
  • Address architecture and design challenges across custom development, low-code platforms, data pipelines, and AI-enabled solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university plus 7–15 or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to architect Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, alongside Python, SQL, and API-based development.
  • Working knowledge of AI and LLM solution design, including agentic workflows and custom GPT or business-agent development.
  • Established professional relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders in architecture and solution development.
  • Sound judgment when selecting methods and techniques to develop solutions.
  • Ability to connect functional and non-functional requirements with technical decisions to produce a robust solution architecture.
  • Experience in regulated environments with validated SDLC controls, including traceability, testing evidence, and peer review, is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to follow leadership direction, work independently, and remain self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to perform office-related duties that may involve extended sitting or standing.
  • Ability to move between locations within an office environment.
  • Ability to use a computer.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Some roles may involve occasional repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movements.
  • TOGAF certification is preferred.
  • Azure or AWS Architect certification is preferred.
  • Experience in GxP-regulated, life sciences, or clinical research environments is preferred.
  • Experience with secure coding practices and secrets management tools such as Azure Key Vault or AWS Secrets Manager is preferred.
