Senior Site Reliability Engineer (AWS/DevOps) — Remote in the United States
Lead reliability engineering for AWS infrastructure and CI/CD systems at Innosphere. Help distributed technology staffing and software development teams operate secure, efficient, and dependable services.
Description
- Design, build, and deploy solutions that strengthen product reliability and organizational efficiency
- Drive the development of effective CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor teams on DevSecOps principles and practices
- Partner with product teams to clarify requirements and advance infrastructure and reliability goals
- Use root cause analysis, post-mortems, and code-based prevention to reduce recurring failures
- Deploy effective monitoring and security scanning capabilities
- Help support teams investigate and resolve technical issues
- Promote modern technologies and practices that improve engineering workflows
- Identify and implement automation that reduces manual support work
- Provide emergency support outside regular hours when required
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- At least five years of software engineering experience, including Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration-as-Code
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of AWS design and architecture
- Professional-level AWS certification is a significant advantage
- Extensive experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
- Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration-as-Code
- Experience writing Windows scripts
- Advanced experience with CI/CD platforms, preferably GitLab
- Experience using Git in a multi-team environment
- Some experience with containers and container-as-a-service platforms such as EKS and/or ECS
- Experience with log aggregation platforms
- Experience with APM and infrastructure monitoring tools such as Grafana is an advantage
- A strong interest in continuous learning and personal development
