Senior Site Reliability Engineer - AWS DevOps Hybrid

Description

  • Develop and maintain Terraform code for AWS infrastructure and services
  • Build and support CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline
  • Coordinate application and infrastructure deployments across environments
  • Deliver L2 production support through monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Resolve production issues and implement necessary code changes in supporting services
  • Track application and infrastructure health with CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and Splunk
  • Support the hybrid model in which applications run on AWS while execution remains on the Mastercard side
  • Provide coverage during assigned shifts aligned with Vancouver and US business hours

Requirements

  • Strong practical experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools, including Terraform, Jenkins, and AWS CodePipeline
  • Ability to create and update infrastructure as code
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including API Gateway, EKS, RDS, EC2, ElastiCache, OpenSearch Service, S3, and VPC
  • Experience using CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and Splunk for monitoring and observability
  • Background in production monitoring, deployment support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Three to five years of relevant professional experience
  • Availability to support assigned shifts covering Vancouver and US business hours
