Senior QA Engineer, Blockchain — Singapore Remote
Senior QA Engineer responsible for testing backend systems, APIs, databases, and big data services across Binance’s global blockchain ecosystem. The role focuses on automation, performance, security, scalability, and reliable releases.
Description
- Partner with developers, product managers, customer support, and external partners to support high-quality product delivery
- Take part in Agile ceremonies and help drive continuous improvement
- Create, maintain, and run test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts
- Execute manual and automated tests across backend systems, APIs, databases, and distributed services
- Investigate, track, and report defects, including failure root-cause analysis
- Test new features and document scenarios alongside their expected behaviors
- Promote QA best practices and strengthen test coverage and product quality
- Assess backend services for performance, security, and scalability
- Lead big data QA initiatives, automation framework setup, data comparison scripting, and release process improvements
Requirements
- At least seven years of QA engineering experience, with strong backend testing and automation expertise
- Practical experience with manual and automated testing across the complete testing lifecycle
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript, plus automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
- Strong understanding of APIs, databases, microservices, CI/CD, and SDLC practices
- Familiarity with QA efficiency tools, AI/LLM applications, performance testing, and security testing
- Experience with StarRocks, Kafka, and big data QA environments is advantageous
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation abilities
- Fluent English communication skills and effective collaboration experience
- Experience with Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr, with familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes preferred
