Senior Procurement Analyst India Remote

Support procurement consulting engagements through sourcing, spend analysis, cost modeling, and procurement operations. Build data-driven recommendations, manage purchasing workflows, and advise stakeholders on supply chain initiatives.

Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on spend analysis, forecasting, and consolidation projects
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative assessments to build total-cost-of-ownership and should-cost models
  • Present analysis to client stakeholders using strong presentation, data analysis, and advanced Excel skills
  • Coordinate end-to-end sourcing activities, from requirements gathering and demand forecasting through RFx development, go-to-market planning, and supplier negotiations
  • Contribute to category strategies through spend, supplier, and industry benchmarking
  • Track project budgets, historical spend, forecast versus actual savings, and value delivery
  • Maintain reporting on contracts, change orders, supplier performance, KPIs, SLAs, risk, and lifecycle management
  • Administer daily procurement workflows, including purchase requisition-to-purchase-order conversion, change orders, and ad hoc purchase-order support
  • Handle ad hoc sourcing requests and provide responsive service to internal customers
  • Contribute to client report-outs, process improvements, and data optimization initiatives
  • Follow guidance from stakeholders at multiple levels, deliver high-quality work with limited supervision, and provide status updates to team leads

Requirements

  • Prior experience in supply chain, procurement, or a related function
  • Three to ten or more years of supply chain, procurement, or consulting experience with a Fortune 1,000 company
  • Advanced expertise in financial and data analysis, Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, chart and graph creation, and Microsoft PowerPoint presentations
  • At least one year of experience with a procure-to-pay platform such as Ariba or Coupa is strongly preferred
  • Ability to apply creative and quantitative thinking in problem-solving settings
  • Comfort working with stakeholders across all organizational levels
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Self-directed, adaptable, organized, and confident, with strong initiative and multitasking ability
  • Excellent written, verbal, and formal presentation communication skills
  • Strong organization, multitasking, and time-management capabilities
  • Ability to adapt communication style to customers' varied corporate cultures and organizational structures
  • Experience conducting supply chain and procurement assessments, including interviews, modeling, analytics, and report writing
  • Strategic sourcing experience covering scope definition, market and supplier research, RFx development, management and evaluation, and negotiations
  • Practical experience using spend analysis and visibility tools to identify opportunities, establish baseline spend, and calculate realized sourcing-event savings
  • Hands-on experience with procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, or Coupa
  • Sourcing experience in categories such as IT, professional services, CAPEX, MRO, marketing, facilities management, utilities, logistics, or office supplies
