Senior PostgreSQL Designer
Senior PostgreSQL designer developing secure ICT architectures and infrastructure for Kyndryl’s Dutch Ministry of Defence work. Hybrid role requiring two days per week in Den Helder.
Description
- Develop complex architectures and architectural frameworks
- Translate functional requirements into functional and technical designs
- Prepare documentation and convert implementation provisions into concrete measures
- Participate in impact assessments and projects
- Serve as the delivery owner for complex assignments
- Review technical designs by validating impact assessments and conducting risk analyses
- Ensure solutions comply with security standards
- Advise the Technical Manager
- Prepare ICT component implementations and ensure acceptance and standards compliance testing
- Develop and adapt components within ICT architectures and infrastructures
- Create and execute test scenarios
- Maintain alignment between architectural building blocks
- Act as the final escalation point for third-line support issues
- Analyze disruptions, recommend modifications, and implement automated changes
- Research ICT building blocks and optimize existing components
- Provide guidelines and technical advice
- Provide subject-matter guidance and coaching to designers
Requirements
- At least five years of relevant professional experience
- Demonstrated experience designing PostgreSQL databases
- Experience implementing and administering Microsoft Windows Server 2016
- Automation experience, particularly with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
- Private cloud administration experience, especially migrating on-premises environments to the cloud
- Experience with vulnerability management
- Experience with on-premises AD FS (Active Directory Federation Services) alongside Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and/or Azure AD
