Senior On-Site Architect – Data Center Construction in Madrid

Sener seeks a senior architect to oversee construction and design for data centers in Madrid, coordinating contractors, technical disciplines, and client requirements.

Description

  • Oversee construction execution and monitor the quality of materials.
  • Confirm that materials match project specifications and comply with completed tests and inspections.
  • Verify that construction follows the approved specifications, scope, and design.
  • Resolve construction issues requiring input from the project’s appointed technical management team.
  • Coordinate and review contractor documentation.
  • Develop and review architectural designs, validating documents against client requirements.
  • Coordinate structural and building-services disciplines to integrate all specialties.
  • Support the end client and construction delivery through technical and construction meetings.

Requirements

  • Degree in architecture.
  • At least 10 years of experience supervising construction for complex building projects.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience serving in project technical management or site supervision roles.
  • Knowledge of national regulations and legislation.
  • Advanced English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Presto, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working to demanding quality standards.
