Senior Node.js Developer (Remote, Serbia)

Description
- Develop high-performance backend services and APIs for enterprise SaaS products
- Build secure, scalable Node.js microservices and integrations across the Salesforce ecosystem
- Deliver modern front-end features with Vue.js and TypeScript
- Create CI/CD tooling, automation frameworks, and infrastructure that improve developer productivity
- Design real-time processing and event-driven systems for sensitive enterprise data at scale
- Collaborate closely with engineering leaders, product managers, and the CEO
- Take ownership of major architectural areas and production software used by enterprise customers
- Lead work across the full system lifecycle while supporting the company’s rapid growth
Requirements
- At least five years of professional Node.js experience in production environments
- Expertise in asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime
- Extensive production experience with TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of REST API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and enterprise API security practices
- Demonstrated experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, query optimization, data modeling, and scalable schema performance
- Proficiency in Git workflows, code reviews, automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of Docker, AWS, Google Cloud or Azure, and infrastructure-as-code principles
- Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations is preferred
- Experience building or contributing to Salesforce ISV or AppExchange products is preferred
- Vue.js experience, especially with Vue 3 Composition API and state management, is preferred
- Experience supporting enterprise customers with compliance requirements such as SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, or GDPR is preferred
- Familiarity with DevOps and DevSecOps tools and practices in the Salesforce ecosystem is preferred
- Availability for a long-term, full-time engagement rather than short-term contract work
