Description

  • Consult with enterprise customers on the implementation, optimization, and use of Broadcom mainframe software.
  • Apply application development and operations life cycle management practices through Broadcom tools.
  • Use Endevor, Zowe, and REXX scripting to connect established mainframe environments with modern delivery practices.
  • Work with Broadcom account leaders, solution architects, and partners to qualify opportunities and design technical frameworks.
  • Build relationships across customer IT teams while documenting infrastructure, challenges, and project effects.
  • Guide customers through early-stage concept development and solution ideation.
  • Lead product integration demonstrations, tailored trials, and proofs of concept.
  • Explain Broadcom technology advantages and competitive distinctions to customers.
  • Prepare technical specifications, integration procedures, and requirements documentation.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of Broadcom mainframe software products.
  • Assess requirements and design life cycle management solutions for implementation.
  • Evaluate and improve Endevor plans, upgrades, architecture changes, and migration approaches.
  • Perform comparative assessments of hardware and software options.
  • Direct solution installation, configuration, and structural optimization.
  • Resolve complex system issues after implementation as the senior escalation resource.
  • Recommend improvements to customer environments and mainframe DevOps practices.
  • Convert emerging life cycle management developments into actionable strategies and technical guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  • At least eight years of relevant mainframe experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Endevor or comparable platforms, including ACM, PDM, security interfaces, and Quick Edit.
  • Experience implementing or upgrading Endevor, developing processors, creating inventory structures, and configuring life cycle elements.
  • Proficiency with REXX and scripting or coding for rapid implementation work.
  • Strong knowledge of Endevor processors and mainframe utilities such as JCL.
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations.
  • Ability to listen actively and convert complex customer requests into defined business needs.
  • Ability to provide clear written project updates to project managers and customers.
  • Strong technical communication skills for knowledge-transfer sessions.
  • Experience coordinating daily execution with project management communication practices.
