Senior HCM Cloud Platform DevOps Engineer

Description

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM configuration deployments
  • Administer OCI resources in FedRAMP Moderate+ authorized environments
  • Maintain configuration baselines in line with NIST SP 800-128
  • Coordinate quarterly Oracle updates across program environments
  • Work with functional and test teams to assess update impacts and validate regression tests
  • Oversee rollback procedures
  • Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities
  • Create automated failover, backup and restore, and disaster recovery testing procedures
  • Track platform performance, availability, and capacity with OCI monitoring tools
  • Set alert thresholds and automate remediation workflows
  • Apply infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Apply FIPS 140-3 encryption standards and coordinate key and certificate lifecycle management
  • Oversee environment refreshes, data masking, and sandbox provisioning
  • Write operational runbooks, architecture diagrams, and deployment procedures
  • Take part in SAFe Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
  • Set functional area direction and define standards and best practices
  • Provide technical oversight across workstreams or Agile Release Trains
  • Lead and mentor technical and functional staff
  • Promote innovation and shape cross-functional program delivery decisions
  • Present the technical perspective to senior program leaders

Requirements

  • Be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
  • US citizenship is required
  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for the degree
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in cloud platform engineering, DevOps engineering, or systems administration for enterprise cloud environments
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience with OCI, AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or equivalent FedRAMP-authorized cloud platforms
  • Strong command of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalents
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools, especially Terraform
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting
  • Knowledge of FIPS 140-3, NIST 800-53, and FedRAMP Moderate+ control baselines
  • Experience with configuration baselines, change control, and release management across multi-environment enterprise deployments
  • Preferred: At least 11 years of cloud platform or DevOps engineering experience
  • Preferred: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate or Professional, or Oracle Cloud Operations Associate certification
  • Preferred: Experience managing Oracle Fusion Cloud SaaS environments
  • Preferred: Familiarity with NIST SP 800-128 configuration management standards and federal configuration management or change control board processes
  • Preferred: Experience implementing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for federal cloud systems
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architectures
  • Preferred: Experience with federal ATO processes and infrastructure evidence artifacts for RMF packages
  • Preferred: Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud and/or OCI in enterprise HCM or ERP environments
