Senior GRC Engineer (Spanish-English) | Panama Remote

Description
- Manage primary relationships for complex client accounts
- Build executive-level relationships and provide concise milestone updates
- Lead client engagements in English and Spanish across phone, email, and video
- Interpret and implement technical security requirements mapped to SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST CSF
- Lead and develop analyst pods through operational direction, feedback, and mentoring
- Create and maintain enterprise security policies, operating procedures, and audit evidence
- Handle complex account escalations and resolve challenging client issues
- Partner with internal and client technical teams on risk reduction and gap remediation
- Improve internal playbooks, procedures, and service-delivery frameworks
- Take ownership of assigned accounts and begin managing client engagements within 15 days
Requirements
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish
- At least three years of experience leading, mentoring, or guiding small compliance analyst teams
- Hands-on experience delivering cybersecurity compliance programs using SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF
- Ability to manage several complex compliance projects at the same time
- Experience writing, implementing, and enforcing corporate security policies in technology or cybersecurity organizations
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Reliable high-speed internet and a professional home office suitable for confidential conversations and uninterrupted collaboration
- Availability to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Eastern Time
- Willingness and ability to travel locally for occasional onsite meetings, team events, or business activities
- Availability for live, camera-on video interviews and identity verification during recruitment and onboarding
- Successful completion of identity verification and background screening where legally permitted
- Experience with Big Four or top-tier consulting, HIPAA, PCI DSS, Vanta, Drata, or related frameworks is helpful; relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or Security+ are also valued
