Senior GIS Solutions Engineer at Gilytics AG — Switzerland Remote

Support customers using Gilytics’ Pathfinder, a 3D cloud platform for automated linear-infrastructure and renewable-energy design. Lead GIS demonstrations, onboarding, tender responses, technical documentation, testing, and customer support.

Description

  • Build deep expertise in Pathfinder and how customers apply the solution
  • Explain Pathfinder’s capabilities in relation to customer needs
  • Create and deliver demonstrations of Pathfinder workflows and use cases
  • Write technical documentation and support sales and marketing content
  • Develop technical offers and respond to public tenders
  • Provide technical assistance, including live support for customers
  • Triage customer technical requests and help inform product roadmap priorities
  • Plan and deliver customer onboarding and training
  • Test the complete solution before releases and customer deployments
  • Apply AI tools to speed up demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and tender responses
  • Use AI writing assistants for technical documentation and proposals
  • Use AI-supported tools to manage and triage incoming customer requests
  • Apply AI-assisted testing tools to solution quality assurance

Requirements

  • At least three years of hands-on GIS experience in land, environmental, or infrastructure management
  • At least two years of experience in a customer-facing position
  • Proven ability to produce technical documentation in English
  • Conversational proficiency in English
  • A degree or comparable education in GIS, geomatics, geospatial science, environmental engineering, or a related technical or scientific discipline
  • Experience delivering teaching or technical training is preferred
  • At least two years of experience working with international customers in an English-speaking environment is preferred
  • German, Spanish, or additional language skills are advantageous
