Description

  • Create operator-facing Neuron features with React and TypeScript, including live dashboards, alerts, ticketing workflows, capacity planning, and power-flow visualizations
  • Develop AI teammate interfaces with interaction panels, recommendations, approvals, and audit histories
  • Optimize large, data-intensive views for responsive performance across devices
  • Maintain telemetry ingestion from customer sites using edge collectors, MQTT through AWS IoT Core, queue workers, and canonical metric normalization
  • Develop integrations for Siemens Desigo, Schneider PME and EcoStruxure, Niagara, Eaton, BACnet, Modbus, and SNMP systems
  • Manage point mapping, unit and phase definitions, deduplication, and reliable backfill processing
  • Build with PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB, including hypertables, continuous aggregates, compression, and retention policies
  • Design robust schemas and migrations for datasets reaching billions of rows
  • Diagnose and fix performance problems using real customer-scale workloads
  • Produce tested, peer-reviewed code and support CI/CD and automated test coverage
  • Investigate production issues across the stack and participate in on-call support as the platform grows
  • Work closely with the Principal Software & Architecture Lead, Product, and Solution Engineering teams
  • Lead features across the full path from telemetry ingestion and time-series storage to operator dashboards

Requirements

  • At least seven years of experience delivering production software across the stack
  • Strong Python skills, preferably with Django experience
  • Advanced PostgreSQL capability covering schema design, query tuning, and production migrations
  • Practical time-series expertise; TimescaleDB is preferred, though comparable high-volume streaming or time-series systems are transferable
  • Proficiency with React and TypeScript, including sound performance decisions for data-heavy interfaces
  • Experience with asynchronous and event-driven architectures such as task queues, pub/sub, streaming, or WebSockets
  • Working knowledge of AWS services including ECS Fargate, RDS, ElastiCache, and IoT Core
  • Independence in defining scope from incomplete requirements and delivering finished work
  • Preferred: Experience with industrial or IoT telemetry, including BMS, EPMS, DCIM, SCADA, or related operational technology
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience with BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, or vendor BMS APIs
  • Preferred: Familiarity with data-center infrastructure such as power distribution, UPS and PDU behavior, or PUE
  • Preferred: Experience developing observability or monitoring products
  • Preferred: Background in an early-stage startup from Seed through Series B; visa sponsorship is available.
