Senior Frontend Engineer – Oslo Hybrid

Join Flowcase to develop React and TypeScript capabilities for its SaaS bid and proposal platform. The role covers accessible, internationalised, AI-enabled interfaces and improvements to frontend tooling.

Description

  • Take frontend features from problem definition through delivery, iteration, and refinement
  • Partner with product designers to shape solutions and work independently when appropriate
  • Create and expand reusable, accessible components within the design system
  • Maintain alignment between production code and the Figma design system
  • Integrate accessibility and internationalisation into feature development from the outset
  • Use profiling tools to diagnose and improve frontend performance
  • Collaborate with backend engineers on feature APIs and implement them when needed
  • Enhance shared frontend libraries, linting, development tooling, and test coverage
  • Develop user interfaces for AI-powered product capabilities
  • Modernise legacy frontend code incrementally without pursuing a large-scale rewrite
  • Deliver features in collaboration with full-stack engineers and product designers
  • Help shape product direction and make improvements throughout the codebase

Requirements

  • Strong experience delivering production web applications with TypeScript and React, or a comparable framework together with the ability to learn React quickly
  • A solid grasp of web accessibility
  • Practical experience with internationalisation and localised user interfaces
  • Experience designing user experiences for AI-powered functionality
  • Experience working with data visualisation
  • Experience with React Aria, Vanilla Extract, React Query, or Storybook
  • Experience with frontend tooling, monorepos, or shared libraries used by multiple teams
  • Legal eligibility to work in Norway
  • Current residence in Norway
