Description

  • Set the technical direction for complex frontend features
  • Guide the team through design decisions, code reviews, and mentoring
  • Build advanced frontend functionality with React and Next.js
  • Establish scalable architecture with distinct UI, business-logic, and data-access layers
  • Create reusable component libraries with consistent APIs
  • Connect REST services and verify API contracts with backend teams
  • Measure and improve performance through code splitting, lazy loading, and bundle analysis
  • Develop graphics-intensive interfaces with WebGL, three.js, or React Three Fiber
  • Connect map SDKs while managing coordinate systems, provider fallbacks, and API tokens
  • Create components that embed safely in an existing host application without unintended global effects
  • Define and maintain testing approaches with Vitest or Jest and React Testing Library
  • Support CI/CD processes, Git practices, and pull-request reviews
  • Mentor colleagues, decompose work, estimate effort, and write technical documentation
  • Apply frontend security principles and assist with observability, releases, and production incident investigations

Requirements

  • Bring 5–8 years of professional experience
  • Demonstrate advanced React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern hooks-based component development
  • Design scalable frontend architecture with a single source of truth and clear separation among UI, business logic, and data access
  • Build reusable component libraries and maintain consistent component API standards
  • Use Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or an equivalent state-management solution, including efficient selector design
  • Apply strong HTML, CSS, and SCSS skills across responsive, accessible, and style-isolated interfaces
  • Translate detailed visual specifications into interfaces using systems such as IBM Carbon or Material UI
  • Integrate REST APIs with typed models, adapters, polling, and defensive handling of incomplete or inconsistent data
  • Define or verify API contracts with backend teams and apply contract-testing practices
  • Optimize performance through profiling, memoisation, code splitting, lazy loading, and bundle analysis
  • Understand frame-rate, GPU-utilisation, and memory considerations for graphics-intensive screens
  • Work hands-on with WebGL, three.js, or React Three Fiber, including scene and camera control, pointer picking, and animation timelines
  • Manage events and interaction across layered interface and graphics surfaces
  • Integrate map SDKs, work with coordinate systems, implement provider fallbacks, and protect API tokens
  • Build host-application components with clean props and callbacks, isolated styles, and no unintended global effects
  • Apply strong testing practices with Vitest or Jest and React Testing Library through a practical test strategy
  • Work with strict TypeScript, error boundaries, cross-browser testing, and browser DevTools
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and thorough pull-request reviews
  • Have experience with Azure DevOps
  • Show technical leadership through mentoring, task decomposition, estimation, and technical documentation
  • Understand frontend security basics, including secure environment configuration, safe logging, and responsible third-party dependency use
