- Enable microservices to be rapidly developed, tested, deployed, and integrated with container orchestration platforms
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Automate infrastructure to create consistent, predictable, and supportable environments
- Maintain containerized platforms in secure, regulated settings
- Partner with software and cybersecurity engineers to resolve delivery challenges
- Adjust to varying program requirements, priorities, and technology stacks
- Collaborate on software supporting mission planning and execution for carrier strike groups
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience with a BS/BA, or 6 years with an MS/MA
- Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one
- U.S. citizenship
- Substantial professional experience working with Kubernetes
- Residence in the San Diego metropolitan area
- CompTIA Security+ certification or the ability to earn it within 45 days of hire
- At least 5 years of hands-on containerization experience with tools such as Docker, Podman, or Buildah
- At least 5 years of hands-on container orchestration experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Helm
- At least 5 years of experience automating CI/CD with tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or AWS CodeBuild
- At least 5 years of Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- At least 5 years of experience administering Linux systems including RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu
- At least 5 years of automation and scripting experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Preferred: degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related discipline
- Preferred: experience with cloud infrastructure or development on AWS or Azure
- Preferred: full-stack development experience with Java, Python, TypeScript, React, or SQL
- Preferred: experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Bitbucket
