Description

  • Design and operate scalable data systems and pipelines for complex sources
  • Unify network operations data in consistent, accessible platforms
  • Build and maintain Kafka, Elastic, and Logstash ingestion and processing pipelines
  • Automate ETL/ELT workflows, including validation, cleansing, monitoring, and processing
  • Deliver data solutions with Confluent Kafka, Elastic Stack, AWS, and Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes
  • Develop and administer data warehouses and data lakes
  • Support Kibana dashboards and visualizations with React, JavaScript, and HTML
  • Improve ingestion throughput, query performance, indexing, storage efficiency, and cluster performance
  • Diagnose issues involving data ingestion, processing, storage, memory, partitioning, and performance
  • Maintain data quality, security, and compliance with DoD and DISA requirements
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps processes
  • Work with analysts, visualization engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain documentation for data architecture, integrations, configurations, procedures, and runbooks

Requirements

  • Hold an active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Maintain a current Security+ certification or a higher or equivalent certification
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field plus 12 or more years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields plus 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating disparate data sources
  • Have experience with data warehouses or data lakes, including AWS Redshift, Amazon S3, Hadoop, Snowflake, or comparable platforms
  • Have experience with Elastic Stack and/or Kafka
  • Bring Linux/UNIX system administration and automation experience
  • Have experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerized pipelines, Git, Bitbucket, and DevOps methods
  • Understand network operations data such as logs, metrics, events, ticketing, and CMDB records
  • Be proficient in Python, Java, SQL, and shell scripting
  • Understand data security, access controls, and DoD, DISA, RMF, and STIG requirements
  • Be willing and able to complete and maintain additional customer suitability screenings
