Senior Data Analyst, Power BI & Power Apps (Hybrid)

Description

  • Work with business and technical stakeholders to design, build, test, and launch custom Power Apps solutions
  • Connect Power Apps with SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Teams, Power BI, and external sources through Power Automate and connectors
  • Collaborate with users, product owners, and data engineers to create and support business intelligence solutions
  • Create applications, dashboards, and interactive reports that track critical business measures
  • Develop Canvas and Model-Driven Apps backed by Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases
  • Create custom connectors and use Dataverse for data modelling and data management
  • Convert business data requirements into technical specifications, solution designs, implementations, and visualizations
  • Build, test, and maintain BI dashboards with approved tools including Power BI, QlikView, QlikSense, and Tableau
  • Use UI/UX principles to deliver clear visualizations and a consistent version of the truth
  • Coach junior team members and help define and apply solution-quality practices
  • Deliver medium- to high-complexity projects that may involve multiple BI platforms
  • Manage user access and report connections, and resolve issues through management consoles or workspaces

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field with Business Intelligence coursework
  • Five or more years of hands-on BI solution development, ideally using Power BI, QlikView, or QlikSense
  • Willingness to work onsite or from home as business needs and external conditions require
  • Availability for assigned mid-shift or night-shift schedules based on business requirements
  • Experience with Power Automate cloud, desktop, and business process flows, plus Process Advisor
  • Practical experience with BI platforms such as QlikView, QlikSense, and Power BI
  • Knowledge of data modelling and normalization
  • Strong understanding of ETL practices
  • Proficiency with relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, along with business intelligence concepts
  • Familiarity with solution design and development tools, SDLC methods, and related techniques is preferred
  • A curious, analytical approach with the ability to ask effective questions and recommend solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Agile or Scrum experience is an advantage
