Senior Cloud Systems Engineer
Design and integrate scalable cloud infrastructure for AppGate’s Zero Trust Network Access platform. Maintain system stability, performance, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Description
- Design cloud services, systems, and infrastructure to meet mission and technical requirements.
- Maintain stable, sustainable cloud networks and software systems that scale reliably.
- Develop and assess architectures, interfaces, and end-to-end solutions across hardware, software, networks, virtualized environments, and cloud services.
- Integrate systems, verify and validate them, and assess overall supportability and effectiveness.
- Analyze functions and timelines, conduct trade studies, allocate requirements, and define interfaces for hardware and software specifications.
- Build engineering mechanisms to monitor and manage distributed cloud systems and virtual machine health.
- Use trends, metrics, and performance data to improve existing frameworks, tools, processes, and cloud services.
- Take ownership of and resolve system functionality, performance, configuration, and integration issues.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and at least 4 years of relevant professional experience; or an associate degree (AS/AA) and at least 6 years; or a high school diploma/GED and at least 8 years.
- IAT Level II (IAT-2) certification.
- At least one cloud certification.
- Active Secret clearance.
