Senior Cloud and AI Solutions Architect
Design scalable cloud, AI, marketing, and data solutions for Merkle, setting regional architecture standards across APAC. Work with Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
Description
- Develop architectures for major systems and platforms, balancing delivery time, cost, and compliance with company standards.
- Guide the work of other architects.
- Oversee security solution delivery and support it through governance processes.
- Design scalable marketing and data solutions.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to develop regional solution architecture frameworks.
- Assess global and regional infrastructure and product ecosystems, then define regional architecture standards aligned with global and industry standards.
- Lead architecture documentation, workflows, and visualizations for APAC technical teams.
- Apply global security standards to architecture principles and standard infrastructure options.
- Document, track, and validate key design decisions against requirements.
- Keep technical changes, new methods, and related documentation up to date.
- Engage regional stakeholders and deliver workshops and training as needed.
- Take a broad view of solution design to make effective use of available technologies.
Requirements
- 12–15 years of experience in solution architecture, engineering, and marketing technology.
- Hands-on experience with at least two of Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Solution architecture certifications in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform are a plus.
- Knowledge of digital marketing platforms, adtech, or martech is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI or LLM-based workflows is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience documenting technical and system workflows, diagrams, and visualizations.
- Collaborative approach to working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
