Description

  • Own the end-to-end architecture and feature definition for next-generation NVL and Ethernet switch chips throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through deployment.
  • Create architectural specifications and design guidelines.
  • Evaluate competing architecture options and lead trade-off decisions.
  • Research and develop concepts for future architectures.
  • Partner with architecture, logic design, firmware, system software, and research teams.
  • Drive successful implementation and system integration.
  • Serve as a technical leader and subject-matter expert.
  • Mentor colleagues and promote architectural excellence across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least seven years of demonstrated experience in chip architecture, digital design, or design verification.
  • Strong command of digital ASIC design principles.
  • Familiarity with the complete chip development lifecycle.
  • Ability to think at the system level across hardware and software boundaries.
  • Ability to assess how switch architecture affects end-to-end performance.
  • Comfort working across RTL, models, and system software.
  • Extensive knowledge of networking and compute systems.
  • Practical system-architecture experience involving networking, CPUs, GPUs, or memory subsystems.
  • Experience with in-network computing or data-path acceleration.
