Senior Cardiovascular Surgery Sales Representative - Western Ohio

Sell Medtronic cardiac surgery technologies across Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton. Support surgeons, hospitals, and clinical teams while expanding territory performance.

Description

  • Sell Medtronic’s Cardiac Surgery portfolio across assigned customer accounts
  • Implement territory plans to meet quarterly and annual revenue, unit, and market share targets
  • Build relationships with cardiac surgeons, clinical staff, and key purchasing decision-makers
  • Increase adoption of Cardiac Surgery therapies
  • Find, prioritize, and close new business opportunities across existing and competitor accounts
  • Provide product training, procedural assistance, and clinical expertise
  • Keep sales forecasts and account plans accurate and current
  • Evaluate customer, market, and competitive data to uncover growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, research and development, and other internal partners
  • Oversee territory assets, inventory, expenses, and administrative reporting
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience, an associate degree with 6+ years, or a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years
  • Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
  • Residence within the assigned territory
  • Willingness to travel to customer accounts throughout the region up to 80% of the time
  • Availability to work or travel outside standard business hours, including evening and weekend on-call support
  • Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance
  • Driving history that meets company standards
  • Baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States must meet the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment
  • Ability to meet physical requirements such as frequent travel, transporting products and equipment, extended standing or walking, and working in clinical settings with potential radiation and infectious-disease exposure
