Description

Lead complex AWS consulting engagements from discovery through go-live
Design and implement secure, scalable architectures aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework
Convert business needs into technical roadmaps and architecture decisions
Manage on-premises-to-cloud and cloud-to-cloud migrations with AWS MGN and DMS
Advance Kubernetes, EKS, and microservices adoption
Recommend and implement AI/ML services such as Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker
Prepare environment assessments, gap analyses, technical roadmaps, and project handovers
Provide customer stakeholders with updates on progress, risks, and milestones
Coordinate with Project Managers to keep delivery aligned with schedule, budget, and scope
Support engineers through code and architecture reviews
Resolve complex technical issues using the AWS console and CLI
Present architecture decisions to engineering teams and C-level stakeholders in English and Portuguese

Requirements

At least 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure or architecture, including 5 or more years specializing in AWS
Demonstrated experience in consulting or a Principal-level position
Expertise with core AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, and IAM
Advanced networking experience with Direct Connect and Transit Gateway
Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and EKS
Strong Linux and Unix administration capabilities
Experience with RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and NoSQL databases
Successful delivery of large-scale migrations involving complex data sets and legacy environments
Understanding of the AWS AI/ML portfolio and enterprise Generative AI integration
Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to non-technical and executive audiences
Fluent written and spoken English and Portuguese, including presentations to C-level executives in both languages
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional and/or AWS Certified Security – Specialty preferred
Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK preferred
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing preferred
