Senior Analytics Consultant, Remote US — HCSC
Advise healthcare and business stakeholders with data analysis, dashboards, and actionable insights. Lead analytics initiatives from business case through execution at HCSC.
Description
- Apply technical expertise and healthcare knowledge to support clinical and business stakeholders
- Provide analysis and consulting to internal and external customers
- Advise senior leaders inside and outside the organization
- Query internal and external data sources to uncover useful insights
- Build dynamic, visually clear dashboards
- Guide business cases from initial development through customer or partner execution
- Lead analytics initiatives through successful completion
- Deliver high-quality analysis to support senior leaders’ decisions on tight timelines
- Work with stakeholders across teams to turn initiatives into action
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience in healthcare services, statistical analysis, insurance economics, or a related field; or a master’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience; or a PhD and 2 years of relevant experience; or 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong ability to query a range of internal and external data sources
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or a similar programming language
- Ability to build dynamic, engaging dashboards in Tableau or Power BI
- Business judgment and ability to move a business case from planning through customer or partner execution
- Experience successfully leading an analytics initiative
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to champion initiatives and work with stakeholders across teams
- Ability to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality work to senior leaders on tight timelines

- Preferred: Experience with healthcare payer, managed care, or Medicare analytics
- Preferred: Experience working with claims, member, and authorization data
- Preferred: Advanced SQL skills and expertise in Tableau or Power BI
- Preferred: Strong stakeholder partnership, requirements gathering, and consulting skills
- Preferred: Track record of delivering actionable insights through reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Preferred: Experience supporting Clinical Operations or Utilization Management
- Preferred: Familiarity with SAS, Python, R, or Teradata
