Senior AEM Front-End Developer – Bengaluru (Hybrid)

Build accessible, high-performing AEM websites for Labcorp’s global healthcare services. Develop reusable components, analytics integrations, and optimized digital experiences.

Description

  • Create and maintain responsive AEM web experiences with semantic HTML, modern CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and approved ecosystem frameworks and libraries.
  • Partner with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive interfaces that follow established brand guidelines.
  • Develop AEM markup, client libraries, dialogs, authoring states, content models, and reusable presentation patterns with HTL/Sightly and AEM Core Components.
  • Convert UX/UI specifications into reusable, well-documented components that meet Labcorp brand standards.
  • Develop and validate accessible digital experiences in accordance with WCAG requirements.
  • Improve Core Web Vitals and optimize page weight, asset loading, rendering, caching, images, fonts, and JavaScript execution.
  • Deliver data-layer, tagging, experimentation, and personalization capabilities in partnership with analytics and Adobe platform teams.
  • Contribute to estimation, sprint execution, production validation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and deployment-related corrective actions.
  • Keep component documentation, coding standards, support guidance, and knowledge-transfer materials current.
  • Take part in agency shadowing and reverse-shadowing activities.
  • Work regularly with colleagues and delivery teams in India and the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least seven years of software development experience, including enterprise responsive website delivery.
  • Substantial hands-on experience building front-end solutions with AEM 6.x or AEM as a Cloud Service.
  • Proficiency in HTL/Sightly, AEM Client Libraries, AEM Core Components, HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and component development in Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Practical experience delivering AEM front-end capabilities with HTL/Sightly, client libraries, Core Components, and component-based design patterns.
  • Experience with at least one modern front-end framework or library, including React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility, browser compatibility, SEO fundamentals, web performance, Core Web Vitals, and debugging tools.
  • Adobe Experience Manager certification.
  • Ability to investigate complex problems and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to support production releases or critical incidents outside normal local business hours.
