Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant – Meazure Learning (India Remote)

Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant responsible for invoicing, collections, reconciliations, closing support, and reporting. This full-time remote role supports Meazure Learning’s global education and professional testing operations from India.

Description

  • Oversee the complete Accounts Receivable cycle, including invoicing, cash application, reconciliations, and collections.
  • Process and review customer billing against contracts and company policies.
  • Track aging schedules, pursue overdue balances, and escalate collection concerns as appropriate.
  • Support month-end and year-end close through AR reconciliations and reporting.
  • Maintain audit and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate with U.S.-based accounting and finance teams for accurate, timely reporting.
  • Improve AR processes, tools, and controls to strengthen efficiency and accuracy.
  • Handle additional general accounting work, including GL activities, journal entries, and accruals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Four to six years of accounting experience, with substantial Accounts Receivable responsibility.
  • Experience with U.S.-based companies and knowledge of U.S. GAAP are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and AR reporting.
  • Experience using ERP or accounting platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or comparable systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical ability.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across time zones.
  • Self-directed approach and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Availability for core hours of 6 pm–3 am IST or 5 pm–2 am IST, Monday through Friday.
