Remote Payroll Specialist

Process weekly and biweekly U.S. payroll for Eurofins Scientific, an international life sciences testing company. Handle garnishments, reconciliations, year-end reporting, and employee pay questions.

Description

  • Run weekly and biweekly payroll for U.S. employees.
  • Process garnishments and off-cycle payments.
  • Reconcile weekly payroll variances.
  • Review time, labor, and absence records.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll issues and employee pay inquiries.
  • Respond to payroll policy questions from internal stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Use Oracle HCM Cloud to carry out payroll tasks.
  • Prepare year-end reports using Oracle and ADP.
  • Review reconciliations and process W-2 and W-2C forms.
  • Support planning and integration for newly acquired companies.
  • Recommend improvements to systems and processes.
  • Help maintain smooth operations within the payroll team.
  • Work safely and efficiently.
  • Apply GMP/GLP practices where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate and promote the company’s vision.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3–5 years of payroll administration experience.
  • Experience handling payroll across multiple states.
  • Experience with a payroll system and accounting programs is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in computer operations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including spreadsheet development and data analysis.
  • Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint is preferred.
  • Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
  • Willingness to work overtime.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to safeguard confidential information.
  • Strong computer and organizational skills.
  • Careful attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
