Remote Graphic Designer at Artemis ARC

Create accessible, brand-aligned visual communications for Artemis ARC’s federal clients. This role turns complex information into effective materials for print, digital, web, and social audiences.

Description

  • Create infographics, presentations, publications, brochures, fact sheets, posters, social graphics, digital signage, and other outreach assets.
  • Turn technical, sensitive, or complex subject matter into clear and engaging visual communications for varied audiences.
  • Produce and refine designs with Adobe Creative Cloud or comparable professional design software.
  • Partner with communications, program, and technical teams to define requirements and turn key messages into completed materials.
  • Apply client brand guidelines and style standards consistently across every deliverable.
  • Build accessibility into visual products by meeting Section 508 standards and correcting compliance gaps.
  • Coordinate multiple projects, produce stakeholder-ready materials, and meet competing deadlines, including work for client leadership.
  • Review stakeholder input and complete revisions within agreed delivery schedules.
  • Contribute to event and exhibit graphics, video and motion work, and the organization of photo and digital asset libraries.

Requirements

  • At least four years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, communications, or a related discipline.
  • A portfolio of relevant work samples.
  • Professional proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud or Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, or equivalent design tools.
  • Working knowledge of Section 508 accessibility guidelines and standards.
  • Experience presenting complex information through clear, visually engaging content for different audiences.
  • Track record of handling several projects at once while meeting demanding deadlines.
  • Experience contributing to complex federal government projects.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a public trust or higher clearance when required by the contract.
  • Authorization to work legally in the United States.
  • Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to organize work, set priorities, and collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to express ideas and solutions logically in writing and speech.
  • Composure in high-pressure, fast-moving work environments.
  • Responsiveness to client feedback and ability to implement revisions quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to learn complex subject matter rapidly.
