Description
- Edit copy for US English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
- Verify product data, names, measurements, and factual details for consistency and accuracy.
- Identify character-limit violations, structural issues, restricted terms, and diversity and inclusion concerns.
- Apply style guides, approved naming files, and project briefs when reviewing content.
- Work with writers to clarify and resolve content questions.
- Adjust to changing content formats and project requirements.
- Review Amazon listings, theme-related copy, and other ad hoc content before publication.
- Deliver content that is accurate, consistent, compliant, clear, trustworthy, and aligned with brand and platform standards.
Requirements
- Remote work from a US Eastern time zone.
- Demonstrated copyediting or proofreading experience, preferably with e-commerce, retail, or marketing content.
- Native-level US English proficiency.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain accuracy while handling high volumes and deadlines.
- Comfort working within established guidelines and escalating issues when they should be flagged rather than corrected.
- Adaptability across different content types.
- Familiarity with Amazon listing requirements is advantageous.
