Remote Angular Front-End Developer
Build scalable Angular applications at Talan, an international technology consulting group. Improve performance, testing, and technical standards across client projects.
Description
- Build and maintain scalable front-end applications with Angular 16+ and TypeScript.
- Create reusable, responsive, accessible interfaces that follow modern web standards.
- Implement NgRx state management with Store, Effects, Selectors, and Signal Store.
- Connect applications to REST APIs, corporate design systems, component libraries, and Web Components.
- Create and maintain automated tests to support code quality and reliability.
- Review code and help establish coding standards and development practices.
- Spot technical debt and recommend improvements to architecture, performance, and maintainability.
- Work with technical and functional stakeholders to assess requirements and deliver solutions.
- Record and explain technical decisions, share knowledge, and guide fellow developers.
- Take part in a required 24/7 on-call rota, for about one week every three to four months.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional front-end development experience.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Advanced HTML5 and CSS3 skills, including responsive design, WCAG accessibility standards, and front-end best practices.
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript experience.
- Hands-on experience with Angular 16 or later is required.
- Experience with standalone components.
- Experience using Angular Signals, computed(), and inject().
- Experience with RxJS and reactive programming.
- Experience with NgRx, including Store, Effects, Selectors, and Signal Store.
- Experience integrating and working with design systems, corporate component libraries, and Web Components.
- Experience integrating REST APIs.
- Proficiency with Git and repository workflows, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and conflict resolution.
- Strong experience with automated unit, integration, and component testing of services, components, and state management.
- Knowledge and practical use of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
- Experience with React and Redux.
- Experience using Agile methods, especially Scrum.
- Experience with end-to-end testing tools such as Playwright or Cypress.
