- Use analytical methods and established procedures to resolve complex engineering problems
- Perform analysis and design calculations for operating reactor cores in reload licensing and cycle management
- Prepare and present technical information for internal and external customers
- Record, explain, and communicate technical analysis results
- Deliver nuclear fuel reload engineering work within baseline schedule and cost targets
- Exchange information and encourage transparent communication within a matrixed team
- Complete work in accordance with NRC regulations, customer specifications, and business quality standards
- Collaborate with Commercial Account Managers and customer technical representatives
- Oversee reload projects across the Fuels organization
- Pursue ongoing professional development
- Deliver BWR fuel reload licensing and cycle management solutions, customer-facing materials, collaboration, and training
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, physics, or another scientific discipline from an accredited university
- Professional experience with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) technology
- Experience using BWR core simulators and three-dimensional neutron kinetics codes
- Programming experience in Python or C#
- Access to U.S. export-controlled information requires authorization from the U.S. Government, with applicable final offers contingent on obtaining it
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screening, where applicable
- Strong attention to detail and accountability for results
- Effective interpersonal and leadership capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
