Description
- Lead onsite delivery and implementation of Red Hat technologies
- Assess customers’ infrastructure and business needs, with a focus on OpenShift
- Recommend solutions suited to each customer’s environment
- Act as a Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform subject matter expert at client sites
- Deploy enterprise-scale OpenShift platforms integrated with networking, storage, security, and identity management
- Build CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
- Evaluate emerging technologies and apply them to customer requirements
- Deliver quality outcomes while supporting multiple projects across industries
- Keep stakeholders informed about issues affecting project or company performance
- Oversee problem identification, architecture, specification, design, testing, and deployment for open source solutions
- Prepare project documentation for Red Hat and client management teams
- Adjust delivery plans as customer requirements evolve
Requirements
- Professional experience in consulting or a related role
- Experience delivering enterprise-wide deployments
- Advanced knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Hands-on expertise with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform or open source equivalents, including installation, configuration, and day-2 operations
- Experience with DevOps and GitOps practices and tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Tekton
- Proven ability to communicate project value, progress, and metrics to stakeholders and varied audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, project management, and planning abilities
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification, or willingness to pursue it within 90 days
- Australian citizenship
- Australian government security clearance at NV2 or above
- Ability to deliver services onsite in Canberra
