Quality Logistics Analytics Specialist - Nordex Group - Chennai Onsite

Support quality and logistics operations for wind turbine transportation through KPI analysis, claims management, and continuous improvement. Work with Nordex quality, engineering, logistics, operations, and accounting teams.

Description

  • Provide technical and quality support to field support staff handling outbound wind turbine components
  • Assist surveyors in verifying vessel loading and unloading activities
  • Support external contractors transporting components from the factory to installation sites
  • Deliver transportation-focused technical and quality support to Nordex employees
  • Monitor transportation performance across manufacturing, road carriers, origin and destination ports, tools, and components
  • Build and analyse logistics dashboards and KPIs
  • Detect recurring issues and lead continuous improvement actions
  • Coordinate with Logistics Operations throughout the pre-run, main-run, and final-run phases
  • Resolve transportation requirements and issues with Logistics Engineering
  • Identify improvement opportunities for presentation to the Logistics Committee
  • Support Installation Quality Assurance with transportation matters, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Coordinate transport-related issues with Supplier Quality Assurance and Blade Quality Assurance
  • Prepare and communicate claims with Accounting and provide information needed to initiate invoicing

Requirements

  • Experience with quality management and non-conformity management
  • Practical knowledge of claims management processes
  • Ability to analyse technical reports and checklists, structure data into clusters, and process findings
  • Capability to manage KPIs and monitor performance for logistics quality activities
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow, Upvise, Microsoft Office, and Teamcenter
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and digital quality platforms
  • Ability to conduct problem-solving activities, technical investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective-action planning
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to Nordex quality standards
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Tamil
  • Hindi language skills are advantageous
