Description
- Prepare and submit professional claims
- Resolve routine claim errors and rejections
- Manage assigned billing and follow-up queues in Epic
- Use working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, and payer requirements
- Achieve productivity, quality, and turnaround expectations
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must reside and work full-time in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Texas before the start date
- Available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; some schedule flexibility may be available
- High school diploma or GED
- Level 1: At least one year of medical insurance experience
- Level 1: No certification, license, or registration required
- Level 2: At least three years of professional billing experience
- Level 2: Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification required within one year of hire
- Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, and payer requirements
- Follow-up and denials experience preferred
- Able to meet productivity, quality, and timeliness expectations
