Product Designer (Hybrid, Malaysia)

Design intuitive, scalable experiences across insurance, payments, claims, investments, and other financial products at BJAK. Shape consistent mobile and web products through strong systems thinking, prototyping, and collaboration.

Description

  • Lead product design work from initial concept through production.
  • Translate product requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and refined interfaces.
  • Create intuitive experiences for insurance, payments, claims, investments, and other financial products.
  • Develop and maintain scalable design systems and reusable interface components.
  • Partner with engineers to support accurate implementation of design solutions.
  • Use product data and user feedback to iterate and improve usability.
  • Ensure consistent experiences across mobile and web platforms.
  • Refine interactions, accessibility, and overall product quality on an ongoing basis.
  • Take part in portfolio review, a practical design task where applicable, a role-specific interview, and CEO or final interview stages.

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience designing digital products.
  • A strong portfolio showing product thinking and high-quality visual design.
  • Advanced Figma skills, including interactive prototyping.
  • Solid knowledge of design systems, component libraries, and responsive design.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture and user-flow design.
  • Excellent visual design capability across typography, spacing, layout, and interaction design.
  • Ability to turn complex workflows into clear, intuitive experiences.
  • A portfolio is required.
  • Strong English communication skills are required.
