Description

  • Analyze, architect, and design complete systems throughout their lifecycles, from concept and fabrication through operation, maintenance, and disposal
  • Conduct functional analyses, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies
  • Convert customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
  • Break down customer and system-level specifications into subsystem and component requirements
  • Create requirements verification criteria and plans
  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk assessment, supportability analysis, and effectiveness analysis for complete system solutions
  • Support bids and proposals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver complete system solutions
  • Design and develop secure military communications products
  • Travel up to 10%

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience
  • An active Secret U.S. government security clearance must be held before the start date
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Experience across the systems development lifecycle, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, verification and validation, and production transition
  • Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework is preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience presenting technical information to program management and executive leaders are preferred
  • Experience in cryptographic hardware architecture and design, network encryption specifications, and testing methods is preferred
  • Experience with DOORS, CAMEO, or comparable tools, plus Rust and Python, is preferred
  • Experience integrating hardware and software and conducting validation, verification, and qualification testing is preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%
