Plasma Processor - Portland, Oregon (On-site)

Support Grifols’ plasma-derived medicines by collecting and processing donor samples, preparing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory and records.

Description

  • Collect and process donor samples for testing and production
  • Record product and sample weights accurately
  • Label samples and freeze units within the required timeframe for final packing
  • Pack units for shipment
  • Prepare samples and shipping boxes for delivery to the testing laboratory
  • Monitor stored products and inventory conditions
  • Report the operating condition of equipment
  • Maintain accurate donor records and files
  • Manage shipping activities and inventory control
  • Communicate actively while maintaining quality standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong customer service standards
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule
  • Organizational, computer, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, including below 32°F in a plasma freezer
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to listen to and understand spoken information and ideas
  • Ability to perform precise, coordinated movements with the fingers, hands, and wrists
  • Essential hearing acuity
  • Ability to perceive and distinguish colors
  • Correctable near and far vision to 20/30 in one eye and 20/100 in the other
  • Ability to stand for 4–6 hours per day, bend and twist the neck and waist, walk for up to 1–2 hours per day, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work around biological fluids and potentially infectious organisms
  • Ability to work with electrical office and laboratory equipment
