Pediatric Account Manager, Remote - Massachusetts and Rhode Island

Drive adoption of Insulet’s Omnipod diabetes technology among healthcare providers. Manage field sales, customer training, and clinical relationships across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Description

  • Meet or exceed sales targets across the assigned territory
  • Build and sustain relationships with diabetes care decision-makers and influencers
  • Implement customer loyalty programs
  • Present and demonstrate Insulet products alongside relevant competing diabetes products
  • Demonstrate and train customers on Insulet’s data management software
  • Engage with Managed Markets and maintain knowledge of managed care organizations and their decision-makers
  • Lead required customer training programs
  • Build visibility within professional diabetes organizations across the territory
  • Oversee sales promotions for the assigned territory
  • Partner with commercial teams and corporate office colleagues
  • Conduct field sales activities in line with promotional guidelines
  • Complete administrative work on schedule and within budget
  • Drive regularly throughout the territory, including approximately 2–5 possible overnight trips per month

Requirements

  • Associate degree
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience
  • Current professional credentials or certifications, such as Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), Registered Dietitian (RD), or Registered Nurse (RN)
  • State licensure where required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation abilities
  • Ability to execute sales and marketing plans while managing a territory budget
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Direct experience working with healthcare professionals and people with diabetes
  • Strong computer skills and data analysis proficiency
  • Residence within the assigned territory
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport up to 30 pounds
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Medical device and/or diabetes sales or clinical selling experience preferred
  • Established relationships with endocrinologists preferred
  • Previous industry, clinical, and diabetes training experience preferred
