Part-Time Accounts Receivable Accounting Assistant
Join PFEIFFER & MAY as a part-time accounting assistant supporting accounts receivable for a building services wholesaler. The role covers payment posting, customer account reconciliation, dunning, and receivables management.
Description
- Post incoming payments to the correct customer accounts
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Run the dunning process
- Manage receivables with a focused, solution-oriented approach
- Process expense invoices
- Help maintain accurate, compliant accounting records
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in commerce or a related business field
- Professional accounting experience, especially in accounts receivable
- Strong knowledge of commercial and tax law, including the German Commercial Code (HGB) and German VAT Act (UStG)
- Experience with dunning, receivables management, and credit checks
- Strong numerical ability and a careful, precise, structured working style
- Excellent organizational skills
- Confidence in addressing overdue payments
- A proactive mindset and strong sense of responsibility
- Discretion, dependability, and collaborative working skills
