Description
- Partner with technical and architecture teams to design normalized and dimensional data models
- Review, rewrite, and improve queries, stored procedures, and indexes
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts to automate instance deployment
- Establish strategies and tools for database schema versioning and agile migrations
- Embed dynamic data masking and anonymization practices throughout design and testing
- Build secure, scalable, and efficient solutions for a highly regulated financial environment
- Maintain data quality and drive ongoing optimization
Requirements
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Two to four years of experience as a Data Developer, Data Engineer, or PL/SQL Developer
- Background working in financial or highly regulated environments
- Expert-level PL/SQL and SQL skills
- Experience with query tuning and execution-plan analysis
- Knowledge of normalized and dimensional data modeling
- Experience with database versioning and continuous integration, using Liquibase, Flyway, or native tools
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Oracle deployments
- Knowledge of cloud data architectures, including OCI and Oracle Exadata Cloud
- Understanding of data security practices, including data masking and anonymization
- Availability for a one-month services contract during Panama business hours
