Operations Analyst, Alternative Investments
Manage settlement, servicing, accounting, and lifecycle controls for G MASS Consulting’s private debt and equity assets. Support loan agency activity, restructurings, reconciliations, and related operational processes.
Description
- Coordinate timely settlement and day-to-day operations for private debt and private equity assets, covering deal execution, settlement processing, income accounting, and cash wire controls.
- Support asset lifecycle work, including setup, ticket preparation, cash settlement confirmations, reconciliations, vaulting requests, and ad hoc research.
- Maintain physical security registrations and assist with complex debt restructurings and amendments.
- Oversee loan agency processes such as drawdowns, repayments, interest calculations, and covenant events.
- Record and review lifecycle accounting activity, including principal and interest, fees, expenses, and capital contributions or distributions.
- Work with front-office, legal, finance, and custody teams to maintain operational accuracy and comply with established controls.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of loan products such as term loans, revolvers, delayed-draw facilities, and privately originated debt and equity.
- Working knowledge of how asset lifecycle events affect accounting, including principal and interest, expenses, and capital movements.
- Experience working in a controlled, detail-focused environment where accuracy and timely execution are essential.
- Ability to handle multiple transactions and competing priorities within a fast-paced alternatives platform.
