Description

  • Lead warehouse and administrative operations to deliver efficient service and strong customer support
  • Take part in recruiting and selecting employees
  • Train, coach, and manage the performance of direct reports
  • Oversee inventory transfers, controls, and audits
  • Coordinate inventory staging, RF system cycle counts, vendor returns, counter displays, and promotional materials
  • Manage debit memo activities with accounting to accelerate collection of overdue amounts
  • Administer cash and credit transactions, customer credit approvals, pricing agreements, and job queues
  • Maintain timely responses to calls, emails, and other communications
  • Build customer trust through consistent follow-up and issue resolution
  • Support branch safety programs, facility security, and building operations
  • Report workplace accidents promptly in coordination with HR
  • Help other branches secure customer orders alongside Sales and branch management

Requirements

  • Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in operations, distribution, warehousing, or branch leadership
  • Experience in electrical or industrial distribution is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to improve safety, inventory accuracy, service levels, productivity, or operational consistency
  • Track record of leading and developing teams through clear expectations, coaching, and accountability
  • Working knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, performance metrics, and expense management
  • Sound judgment, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through
  • Concise communicator who can build trust across functions, branches, customers, and suppliers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems used for inventory and operational performance management
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without accommodation
  • Occasional travel capability with a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
