Onsite Assembly Cell Operator at Acuity

Assemble electronic components, wiring, fixtures, and related products for Acuity’s industrial technology manufacturing operations. Perform hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting while following safety and quality standards.

Description

  • Build fixtures, install electronic components, and fit them into larger assemblies or enclosures.
  • Install electrical wiring correctly and verify proper connections.
  • Test and troubleshoot equipment before initial or resumed operation.
  • Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products manually or with small tools.
  • Operate hand and power tools such as drills, crimpers, wire strippers, and fastening equipment.
  • Comply with security requirements, safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
  • Develop proficiency in manual tool operations and apply those skills on the job.
  • Complete assigned work accurately and with close attention to detail.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a team-based production environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to learn and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with specialized configurations.
  • Capacity to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Well-developed organizational skills.
  • Consistent attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and a sense of urgency.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Self-directed approach to learning new processes quickly.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
  • Previous electronics experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand English preferred.
  • No travel required.
