Multifamily Fee Compliance Expert at ApartmentIQ (Remote - U.S.)

Serve as ApartmentIQ’s Solutions Consultant for multifamily operators, advising on fee transparency and regulatory compliance. Demonstrate data products and turn rental-fee requirements into practical product guidance.

Description

  • Run product demonstrations for property managers, owners, and REITs ranging from regional firms to national portfolios
  • Create account-specific analyses of current fee data before customer meetings
  • Work with Account Executives on active sales opportunities and coordinate with marketing, operations, revenue management, and legal teams
  • Respond to compliance concerns and objections with approved messaging, involving customer legal counsel when appropriate
  • Help Customer Success teams support renewals and expansions as clients move into additional markets
  • Track federal, state, and local changes affecting rental-fee advertising and leasing practices
  • Convert newly identified obligations into concise specifications for the product development team
  • Keep a jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction library of relevant rules and their effective dates
  • Create sales and marketing education materials such as guides, one-pagers, and webinars, while representing ApartmentIQ at industry events
  • Bring customer feedback and unresolved needs to the product team

Requirements

  • At least five years of multifamily experience with a property management company, owner-operator, or REIT
  • Hands-on apartment-fee experience in legal, paralegal, compliance, marketing, ILS, or pricing functions
  • Practical understanding of fee disclosures, including mandatory, optional, and conditional charges
  • Strong capabilities in research and analysis
  • Skill in turning complex requirements into clear written guidance
  • Comfort presenting to executive audiences and answering detailed questions
  • Authorization to work for any U.S. employer
  • A paralegal certificate, JD, or compliance credential is preferred
  • Pre-sales, solutions consulting, or other customer-facing SaaS experience is preferred
  • Existing relationships with apartment-industry associations are preferred
  • Experience supporting portfolios across multiple states is preferred
