Lead Content Developer, English Language Learning (São Paulo Hybrid)

Lead complex English Language Learning content projects across print, digital, and blended products at Pearson VUE. Guide authors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams while advancing AI-enabled development workflows.

Description

  • Lead complex English Language Learning content development across print, digital, and blended products while maintaining pedagogical, content, and learning experience quality
  • Manage large, multi-level, multi-component projects and maintain consistency across connected content and formats
  • Resolve content, quality, dependency, and delivery issues throughout development
  • Partner with Project Managers on lead times, dependencies, risks, and practical solutions
  • Brief, review, assess, and approve work from authors, external suppliers, and vendors
  • Collaborate internationally with Product, Production, Digital, Assessment, Design, and other teams
  • Provide expert direction to Content Developers, authors, suppliers, and project teams without direct line-management responsibility
  • Drive the adoption of AI-enabled and agentic workflows
  • Make independent content and delivery decisions while keeping stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and recommendations

Requirements

  • Substantial experience developing English Language Learning courseware for print and digital products, with strong ELL/ELT pedagogy and learning experience expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex, multi-level, multi-component content development projects
  • Strong editorial judgment with experience commissioning, reviewing, and approving high-quality educational content
  • Able to anticipate and resolve content, quality, and delivery issues involving timelines, dependencies, and evolving requirements
  • Experience working with Project Managers, authors, external suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams in an international setting
  • Able to influence, coach, and provide specialist direction without formal people-management authority
  • Curious, proactive approach to AI-enabled content development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced English proficiency
