Lead Content Developer - English Language Learning, Pearson VUE, Poland Remote

Lead English Language Learning content developer responsible for print, digital, and blended products at Pearson VUE. Direct complex courseware projects and AI-enabled workflows with international teams.

Description

  • Direct complex content development for print, digital, and blended English Language Learning products
  • Oversee large, multi-level, multi-component projects to maintain consistency across formats
  • Resolve content, quality, dependency, and delivery issues
  • Partner with Project Managers on lead times, dependencies, risks, and solutions
  • Brief, assess, review, and approve work from authors, suppliers, and vendors
  • Coordinate with Product, Production, Digital, Assessment, Design, and other international teams
  • Advise Content Developers, authors, suppliers, and project teams without formal line-management duties
  • Drive the use of AI-enabled and agentic workflows
  • Make independent content and delivery decisions while updating stakeholders on progress, risks, and recommendations

Requirements

  • Substantial experience creating English Language Learning courseware for print and digital formats
  • In-depth understanding of ELL/ELT pedagogy and learning experience design
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex, multi-level, multi-component content projects
  • Strong editorial judgment with experience briefing, reviewing, and approving educational content
  • Ability to anticipate and resolve content, quality, delivery, timeline, dependency, and changing-requirement challenges
  • Experience working with Project Managers, authors, external suppliers, and multidisciplinary international teams
  • Ability to influence, coach, and provide expert direction without formal management authority
  • A curious, proactive approach to AI-enabled content development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced English proficiency
