Key Account Manager, DACH Retail (Remote in Germany)

Manage Müller and other DACH retail accounts for DOONAILS, strengthening partnerships, promotional activity, point-of-sale performance, and retail growth.

Description

  • Own the relationship with Müller and other regional and specialist retail partners across the DACH region
  • Grow and deepen existing retail partnerships
  • Create account-specific growth plans and coordinate high-impact promotional campaigns
  • Track sell-through data, point-of-sale performance, and inventory levels
  • Produce recurring reports and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Support point-of-sale advertising and display initiatives
  • Maintain product listings in partnership with Retail Marketing
  • Manage the accounts’ day-to-day operations
  • Coordinate schedules and cross-functional handoffs with Supply Chain
  • Keep order processing running smoothly

Requirements

  • Bring approximately 2–5 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Trade Marketing, ideally within FMCG, beauty, D2C, or drugstore retail.
  • Understand the core processes of brick-and-mortar retail.
  • Use data confidently and demonstrate strong numerical ability.
  • Build relationships through an approachable, reliable, and appreciative style.
  • Work in a highly organized way and communicate clearly and respectfully with stakeholders.
  • Be available for occasional travel within the DACH region for customer meetings and point-of-sale store checks.
  • Communicate fluently in German and English, both written and spoken, including strong negotiation skills.
